Wolf & Phoenix Weekly Updates for the week of June 6, 2026

Weekly Updates: June 20, 2026

Happy Saturday!

Today is the last day to sign up for an ARC of Blaze of Vengeance! If you’ve read and reviewed the first two of Pandora’s books, and you’d like to get an early copy of BoV, fill out this form ASAP!

If you’re a VIP at the Whips tier or higher, you should’ve received your copy a few days ago. Don’t see it? Check your spam for an email from Bookfunnel, or check your Bookfunnel library. If you still didn’t receive it, please reply to this email ASAP so I can get your copy to you!

Read it already? What do you think?! Reply and let us know! Otherwise, it’ll drop on June 30th.

Don’t forget that we have a Goodreads giveaway going on. Prefer reading it right now? Check it out on Amazon/in KU!)

Again, just a quick reminder that we’ll be taking a brief break from MF projects while we get caught up on our MM project, Kiss Him Bloody. We really think you’ll like what’s coming next, but we need some time to reset and recalibrate and get through the release. Thanks for your patience, and we promise bonus stories in the meantime!

Kiss Him Bloody will be available direct (complete with W&P-exclusive bonus story) 2 weeks early, or get it on Amazon on the 9/29/2026 release day!

It’s a lot of fun so far. Zane is different from other characters I’ve written before, and Adara is having loads of fun writing Hyacinth. It’s running a little slower than I’d like because I’m not used to taking the “top” as my main focus, but hey, practice makes perfect, right?

We haven’t talked about our process in a while. Maybe that’ll be next week? We shall see!

Anyway, that’s it for this week!

Personal Updates

(Adara) Some of you might know, but I became a U.S. citizen last year. This year was the first time I was able to participate in an election. I’m lucky enough to be in a state with mail-in ballots, because I was honestly overwhelmed when I was presented with all my choices. I had to spend so much time looking up each candidate, finding out what they claimed to stand for.

But I’m glad I did it. Even a posting like Board of Education can shape the local landscape. It’s important to participate in even the minor elections, because that’s where your voice matters the most. And if you can vote via absentee ballot, I highly recommend taking that option so you aren’t overwhelmed at the polling booth.

(Raissa) I am ALMOST DONE with edits to Breaking Onyx #1. We are on target to release by July 1st, and to enter it into the Smashwords July sale so you can grab it at a discount for the first month it’s out. (Speaking of sales, Adara and I will be running a W&P Store sale next month at a steeper discount than on Smashwords, so watch for details about that!)

Anyway, Andi and I still trying to figure out the exact title we want to use for Breaking Onyx, and whether that’s just the series title or what. I’m in the middle of commissioning a cover with Bey Deckard of Bad Doggie Designs, who is a master of finding the exact perfect picture for what we’re looking for and putting something together that we love.

(Have you read his books yet? I definitely recommend Max and Max: the Sequel if you like a good mindfuck. Funnily enough, he writes some of the darkest shit I’ve ever come across and is still one of the absolute nicest people I know. Seems to be a trend sometimes, with people who write such fucked-up books, IMHO.)
