Anywho, here’s this week in many, many words because yours truly wrote it.

Hello, loves!
Now that the chaos has rained down upon us and the dust has begun to settle and all of those other metaphors that describe the aftermath of catastrophe descend upon us… We return triumphant!
(I don’t know, y’all, it’s been a long day and my internet went down and I had to spend a few hours with my kid without the internet and next time please just kill me. Forgive me for this train wreck of an email.)
Anywho! We’re back, and you’ll notice there will be some changes to the good old Wolf & Phoenix website. As of November, we are an official business — *points to her shiny Wolf & Phoenix LLC documents!* — and now we will begin making changes so we can act like one. What does this mean for you?
Nothing you should notice at first, except for changes to the tier names. We’ve also decided to do even more content for those of you at the base two levels so you get more than just the WIP chapters and epubs. I’m not particularly great at writing flash fiction, but Adara is, so we should be able to get some stories out to y’all more consistently. We’re also going to start putting these emails up as blog posts on the site for the people who haven’t subscribed to this newsletter.
We are in the process of working on FOUR BIG THINGS right now, though, so that’ll have to take a back seat until we’ve scrambled to catch up.
- “Bad for Me” Anthology Story: MM. Raul and Misha. (Raul was briefly introduced in Breaking Lucia; Misha was briefly introduced in Submit. You don’t need to have read either of those to enjoy this as-yet untitled story to enjoy it.) That’s coming out at the beginning of March. We’re, ah, halfway done and it’s due in *mumbles*
- Control: MM. Evan and Helios. You met Evan in Submit, and you’ll get to know Helios well in Control. We’re hoping to start posting chapters of Control midway through the month. We’re in progress, but most of our attention is on the BFM story we need to title at some point.
- Kings of Violence: RH/MF w/MM. Sierra was briefly introduced in Submit, and now she gets her own story! Russian mafia, anyone? This is going to be a blast. In an unprecedented turn of events, Adara and Raissa changed their minds at the last second about something! Ha.
- Anyway, this will be our Ream (Dark Romance Collective) story, which we’ll publish weekly to the early access joint Ream with 17 other authors! You don’t have to join the DRC to get chapters of KoV though; while we do have to wait 30 days to post after each chapter, we WILL be posting them at W&P a month after they go live on the DRC.
- What the hell is the DRC, you might be asking? Tl;dr: it’s a group Ream where 18 books are going to go live over the course of the year by 19 authors (yeah, we’re the ones who threw the number because we write together :-D) Early access, $10/month for the ebook tier; $55/month for the special edition paperback book box tier. This will be EPIC.
- We’ll begin posting KoV to the Ream at the end of January/beginning of February then W&P/our own Ream a month after that. 1x/week, 30 chapters.
- Brutal: MF w/maybe some MMF in there. This is Brutal and Mimosa’s story. Hang tight; we’re getting there. Oof. This will be the WIP for W&P/Ream that we’ll get to share before Sierra’s story.
